المسجد الحرام هو أول وأعظم مسجد في الإسلام ويقع في قلب مكة وتتوسطه الكعبة المشرفة التي هو أول بناء وضع على وجه الأرض، وهذه هي أعظم وأقدس بقعة على وجه الأرض عند المسلمين.
كما يشتهر حي كدي بوجود منطقة لتملئة الزمزم به حيث تم سحب مياه زمزم إليه لقلة سكانه وسعة أرضه فيتيح ذلك إمكانية تملئة الزمزم دون ازدحام. ويوجد به منطقة مواقف للباصات للذهاب من وإلى الحرم خاصة في مواسم الذروة وهي رمضان والحج لتفادي ازدحام السيارات الصغيرة في منطقة الحرم.
